Common questions about Google Business Accelerator

  • How long do map ranking shifts take?

    Improvements and ranking increases for core keywords depend on keyword competitiveness. On average, ranking enhancements take 3-4 weeks to begin to mobilize. Other factors include previous penalties and listing suspensions.

  • How is this different from SEO packages?

    An onsite SEO package emphasizes website visibility over the Google Business Profile listing. 


    Our traditional onsite SEO complements this but doesn't revolve entirely around it. The Google Maps Accelerator packages enhance Google Business Profile visibility, complement traditional onsite SEO, and boost local keyword rankings.


    The accelerator package is a specific metric and labor to move this ranking item. It is not a total replacement for SEO, but more of a complement to it. 

  • Is there a contract or can I cancel anytime?

    There is no contract. This is a month-to-month billing. 


    We do require a 14-day alert if you wish to stop billing. 


    We do not recommend this plan if you plan to stop in less than 90 days.

  • What access will you need?

    We will contact you once a package is purchased, but our SEO team will need Google Business access granted.

  • What is the strategy and how does it work?

    This service involves optimizing your Google Business Profile, building signals on directories and Google Maps, and creating Google Map stacks. 


    The goal is to improve the performance of your GBP listing within a specific area. Our team will identify two core keywords per location to focus on and create citations directly on the maps. Our stacks help improve proximity, a key ranking factor for local pack results. 


    As we win two core keywords, we begin working on more keywords or additional circles of rank.

  • Are there minimum requirements?

    Yes!


    To be eligible, we require you to have:

    • An active and verified Google Business profile
    • 5 Google Reviews
    • A physical location on your GMB and website list. Currently not accepting mobile-only businesses.
    • Be a current, active Roadmap partner

  • Do I need to keep this going to maintain rankings?

    Part of our strategy and assessments involves determining daily and weekly ranking shifts and making necessary adjustments to achieve the best possible rank.


    If you decide to stop, you will lose ranking on the chosen keywords over time. The time will vary from weeks to months, depending on competitor ranking movements.

  • What is the performance expectations?

    This package works best when performed monthly. Rankings shift daily, so it's ideal to assess performance on a monthly basis. Strategies implemented on accounts may not yield definite results, as each account may react differently. While we cannot guarantee to dominate the local pack for all positions in the grid, our goal is to improve your rankings.
