This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft and refine high-quality written materials across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for creating and meticulously proofreading website content for Detailers Roadmap sites, ensuring all copy is polished, engaging, and adheres to the highest grammatical and formatting standards. Additionally, you’ll get to flex your creative muscles by writing thoughtful and impactful content for social media posts, newsletters, and blogs tailored to engage specific audiences.

We’re looking for someone with a demonstrated history of writing and editing who brings a solid understanding of basic SEO best practices to the table, helping to optimize content for maximum performance and visibility. A sharp eye for detail is essential, and any knowledge of the detailing industry is an added bonus. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team are key to success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: We are hybrid team with a required 3-day in-office structure, 2 day at-home/remote. Our office is currently located in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Description

Primary Role & Responsibilities

• Create unique and engaging website content for Detailers Roadmap clients based on provided sitemap outlines and Jotform responses

• Utilize AI-assisted technology to enhance writing and ensure high-quality content

• Incorporate SEO best practices into writing in order to improve search engine rankings for client websites

• Meet deadlines and adhere to project guidelines provided by Detailers Roadmap and clients

• Proofread and edit writing team’s written website content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall flow

• Adapt writing style to periodically create social media copy, newsletters, blogs, or other written material for 8bitcreative/Detailers Roadmap

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in professional writing or creating website & social media content
• Excellent grammar skills and attention to detail
• Having knowledge of SEO best practices is not required but is beneficial
• Experience with or knowledge of auto detailing is not necessary for this role but is beneficial
• Great communication skills  and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
